The oak on this one has been sandblasted back to bare, pale wood, so the grain reads soft and matte against the white marble top. Two short drawers sit over three long ones, each with cast brass rococo pulls and a working lock. It works as easily in an entry or bedroom as it does as a bar or vanity base.
Sold as-is; photos govern. The oak has been sandblasted, which removes the original surface entirely and is irreversible. Blasting opens the grain, can leave a slightly raised or textured surface where softer growth wore away faster, and softens crisp detail on moldings and edges. It also removes the surface oxidation, tool marks, and pore cues that would otherwise confirm species and date, so the oak is stated as an assessment and the date as a construction based estimate rather than a confirmed year. There is no maker's mark, stamp, or label.
The white marble top is cleaned, not blasted, and shows scattered surface scratches, light staining, and natural veining throughout consistent with age and use (see photos). The top retains a shallow channel running parallel to the rear edge where a splashback once seated; that gallery is no longer present. One lock is functional and a single key is present; the key operates but is not represented as original to the piece. There is minor chipping and small losses to the base molding and one lower corner (see photos). Drawers run and the hardware is intact. Dimensions are approximate.

Shipping of furniture is quoted separately. Size, weight, and destination vary too much piece to piece for a flat rate, so each delivery is arranged individually.

Shipping & Returns
All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.

All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
