A charming vintage pocket guide, The Observer’s Book of Dogs was published by Frederick Warne & Co. in 1970 as part of their beloved Observer’s series. Edited by Sonia Lampson, this revised edition features detailed descriptions and black-and-white illustrations of over 100 dog breeds, along with kennel club classifications and Crufts “Best in Show” winners from 1928–1970. With its laminated pictorial cover showing two Labradors, this book captures the mid-20th century fascination with pedigree dogs and makes a wonderful collectible for both book lovers and dog enthusiasts. A good vintage copy in solid, presentable condition. The laminated pictorial boards are bright with only light handling wear. The spine ends and corners show minor bumping consistent with age and use. Interior pages are clean and tightly bound throughout, with mild age-toning typical of a paper stock from this period. All illustrations are intact and the text is crisp and fully legible. A honest and attractive copy.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
