Size: 48" H x 12" W x 12" D A sculptural 1980s faux burlwood pedestal with striking Postmodern lines and a warm, organic finish. This tall plinth is wrapped in a richly figured faux burl laminate that mimics the depth and movement of natural burlwood, offering the dramatic look of high-end design at a fraction of the cost.
Reminiscent of the work of Milo Baughman and Karl Springer, this piece is ideal for elevating sculpture, floral arrangements, or statement decor. Its clean, monolithic form makes it a timeless anchor in modern interiors, gallery settings, or styled corners needing a touch of warmth and dimension.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Minor surface wear and a small chip to one back corner (not visible from the front) consistent with age and material. Laminate is clean and vibrant with no lifting or major scratches. Underside is unfinished and not intended to be visible when in use.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
