About This Piece

This European equestrian wall tapestry is a jacquard woven decorative textile produced in Flanders by Metrax-Craye, a maker known for heritage-inspired weaves for interiors. Woven in 100 percent cotton, the design leans into classic dressage and sporting club imagery with a collage-style composition. You get horses in profile, gloves, crops, bits, horseshoes, and equestrian crests layered over a subtle architectural backdrop.

It is not antique, but it was intentionally designed to reference historic sporting graphics and country house equestrian taste. Hung on the wall, it reads like a pictorial tapestry panel rather than fabric, with an integrated border that frames the scene and gives it a finished, collected look.

Condition: Very good condition. Clean woven surface with no holes or tears noted. Light creasing and folds from storage are present and should relax with time once hung. Finished edges and hanging sleeve present as shown.

Shipping & Returns

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.

All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
