Antique silver plated casserole stand in the Rococo Revival taste, late Victorian to Edwardian. The pierced gallery reads as fine lacework around the frame, bold scroll handles flank the body, and ornate scrolled feet lift the form just clear of the surface. Designed to cradle a removable glass or ceramic insert, which is not included. Sold as the silver plated stand only. Without the insert it serves beautifully as a centerpiece base, a tray for bread or linens, or a footed platform for pillar candles.
Good antique condition with age appropriate wear. Light surface scratches and minor scuffs consistent with gentle use. Typical tarnish and spotting to the silver plate, the kind that polishes back nicely or can be left as honest patina. The pierced gallery and frame are sound with no major dents. The feet sit securely and the piece rests flat. Insert dish is not included; this listing is for the silver plated holder and stand only.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
