A miniature brass tilt-top table with a functioning tilt mechanism and an inlaid chess and draughts board surface. The form directly references the full-size tripod tea tables fashionable in English drawing rooms from the mid-18th century onward, reduced here to cabinet scale with the same baluster-turned pedestal, three scroll legs, and pad feet. The inlaid checkered board with red diamond corner accents suggests these were made as parlor curiosities or display pieces for game enthusiasts rather than purely decorative miniatures. The tilt mechanism works as it would on a full-size piece.

Good antique condition with honest age-appropriate wear. The brass has developed a warm patina overall with areas of verdigris at the joint between the column and the tripod base and at the pad feet, consistent with age and handling. The tilt mechanism is present and functional. The inlaid chess and draughts board surface is intact with no missing squares; the black inlay shows some oxidation and the red diamond accents retain good color. The top surface shows light scratching consistent with age. No repairs or losses noted. Structurally sound throughout.
