This vintage candlestick is hand-carved from solid Carrara marble. This design features a squared base, a baluster-shaped stem, and a flared top made to hold a taper candle securely.
Made from unsealed Carrara marble, its natural matte finish and subtle gray veining give it a refined, understated beauty. The minimal silhouette and cool stone texture make it a timeless accent suitable for classical, mid-century, or modern interiors.
Carrara marble has long been prized for its luminous quality and soft veining. Pieces like this were popular throughout the 1950s to 1970s, when Italian artisans revived classical forms for contemporary homes, blending heritage craftsmanship with clean, sculptural design.
Condition: Good vintage condition with gentle wear consistent with age. There is a small chip along the rim, lighter spot on one side where the marble shows natural variation or surface wear. Minor edge nicks and natural surface irregularities typical of carved marble. Stable and structurally sound with no cracks or repairs. Unsealed with a natural matte surface that highlights the stone’s veining.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
