This striking mid-century modern sculptural metal vase features a minimalist cylindrical form with a beautifully weathered painted finish, reminiscent of aged copper or corten steel. Likely produced in Japan or Italy during the 1950s–1970s, the piece embodies the Brutalist influence with its industrial material and form, while maintaining the clean elegance of modernist design.
This metal vase features a warm reddish-brown finish with subtle variations, making it ideal for tall branches, dried flowers, or as a decorative art piece. Its vintage details add character, fitting well with Japandi, Wabi-Sabi, industrial, or mid-century modern styles. Perfect for adding sculptural interest to any shelf or console.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Minor surface scuffs and variations to the painted patina are present, adding to its sculptural character. The interior shows signs of oxidation, and the piece is not watertight, best suited for dried arrangements or decorative use. Felt pads on the base are intact, and remnants of original import labels remain visible. Structurally sound and free of cracks, dents, or structural flaws.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
