Neoclassical Style

A striking antique carved marble pedestal with the look of a miniature architectural column. Made from richly veined brecciated marble in dramatic black, cream, and warm rust tones, this piece reads like a fragment from a grand European interior. The stepped base and turned column form give it that classic Neoclassical revival feel, perfect for styling as a sculptural accent or as a display stand for a small bust, vessel, candle, or objet.

These solid stone decorative pedestals were inspired by classical architecture and were popular in the late 19th to early 20th century for refined interiors, decorative alcoves, and sometimes ecclesiastical settings. Today, they are highly sought after by designers for their timeless material, weight, and one of a kind veining.

Conditon: Fair to good antique condition with age appropriate wear. Please note: there is a major structural crack at the neck of the column that goes fully through the marble (visible from multiple angles, see reference photos). The piece presents well for display, but the crack is significant and should be considered when handling, moving, or placing weight on the top. Additional minor edge wear, small surface scuffs, and light rubbing consistent with age.

Shipping & Returns

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.

All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.

If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
