Gothic Revival wrought iron two-light pricket candelabra, sourced from Belgium. The forked yoke form with a central pricket spike rising between the two candle arms gives this piece a silhouette that reads as much sculptural object as functional candlestick. The base is demountable, a construction detail typical of ecclesiastical ironwork made for transport and storage, and it locks into the stem solidly. Everything here is hand-forged: the hammer marks are visible across every surface, and the scrolled tripod feet with their flattened terminals show the confident hand of a smith working in a well-established tradition.
