Good vintage condition overall with honest age-appropriate wear throughout. The brass base, candle cups, and central column show warm patina with scattered areas of oxidation and verdigris, most visible at the joins where the candle arms meet the central support and around the bases of the candle tubes. A few small spots of green oxidation are visible on the underside rim of the brass tray. The braided gallery edge on the tray remains intact. The faux ivory candle sleeves are sound and present well.
The black tole shade shows a few condition issues that are visible on close inspection. There are light surface scratches and small abrasions across the front of the shade, a couple of small dents and minor distortions to the body of the shade, and the shade sits very slightly crooked on the lamp. The gilt trim along the upper and lower rims shows expected wear and small areas of loss, particularly along the lower edge. The cast brass laurel wreath finial sits slightly off-axis, leaning a touch from true vertical, and shows small spots of green oxidation. The white reflector on the top of the shade is intact with light wear at the finial seat.
Wiring has not been updated. The lamp currently works on its original cord with an inline turn switch and a two-prong plug, but a buyer planning regular use should plan to have it rewired by a qualified electrician as a matter of standard practice for a lamp of this age.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
