Vintage French Bouillotte Table Lamp with Adjustable Burgundy Tole Shade
Vintage French Bouillotte Table Lamp with Adjustable Burgundy Tole Shade
Couldn't load pickup availability
Bouillotte-style table lamp with adjustable burgundy tole shade, French in origin and likely mid-20th century. Three candle-style sockets give the layered, low light these lamps are known for, and the warm brass paired with silvery accents reads as tailored rather than ornate. The shade carries fine gilt pin-striping along the edges. A library piece, equally at home on a desk, entry console, or beside a reading chair.
Vintage condition with age-appropriate patina across the metal surfaces. There is a visible cold-weld repair at one lower arm near the base and a second repair near the top of the shade assembly. The center post leans slightly. The shade shows minor scratches and a few small interior dents. The lamp is currently in working order.
