The lamp is in good vintage condition and has been rewired with new brown cloth-covered cord and a US polarized plug, so it is ready to use. It works. The brass throughout has a warm aged patina with surface wear, light scratching, and some darkening and mottling across the shade, all consistent with age and honest use. The conical shade shows the most surface variation, with patches of lighter and darker tone across the brass. The base, handle, and column are structurally sound with no dents or damage of note. The original brass shell socket with its pull chain is in place and functions. The underside shows age, old surface discoloration, and a central mounting nut, as pictured. The connection to a film or television production is a story that came with the piece and has not been documented, so it is offered as an interesting possibility rather than a confirmed fact.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
