A small Swedish silverplated schnapps cup, hallmarked by the maker B. Erlandsson, date code D7 for 1906, with the Gothenburg city mark. The applied crest on the body is the Swedish national emblem, Tre Kronor, the Three Crowns that have identified the Swedish state since the medieval period, set within a crowned wreath. These cups were made as presentation pieces, regimental gifts, and civic awards, as well as for the broad culture of snaps drinking that has been central to Swedish social life for centuries. The form is plain and purposeful, all the weight of the piece concentrated in that single emblem.
The cup is in good condition consistent with its age and use. The silverplate is intact across the body and the applied crest shows no lifting or losses. The base has worn through in places to the underlying brass, showing the gold-toned base metal, which is typical of silverplate pieces that have seen regular handling over more than a century. The form is structurally sound with no dents or deformation. The crest is crisp and well-defined.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
