This one has lived a long life and I want to lay all of it out plainly. The ebonized surface is well worn, more so than you might expect, with broad rubbing across the top panel where the black has thinned and warmer brown and gray tones show through. Along the raised molded edge there is finish loss and fine age cracking in the old surface. To my eye this all reads as genuine age and honest use rather than damage, and it gives the piece real character, but I want you to see it clearly in the photos and know it is a worn surface, not a crisp one. The underside is dry and shows its plain panel construction, some old edge nicks, and an old cursive pencil inscription I cannot fully read. It looks like an old ownership or inventory notation rather than a maker, so I am not attributing it to anyone. The piece sits flat and stable on its four original bun feet with no rock, and the feet are solid. No sign of active woodworm. Please review all photographs closely, as they form part of this description.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
