This exquisite antique pewter dish showcases elegant Rococo-style detailing along its scalloped rim, indicative of 18th to early 19th-century European craftsmanship. The hallmark on the underside features a crowned fleur-de-lis, a symbol commonly associated with French and German pewterers, suggesting a likely origin in one of these regions. Pewter was a widely used material for tableware before the prevalence of silver-plated and porcelain pieces, valued for its durability and understated elegance. This piece has developed a rich patina over time, adding to its authentic antique character.

Condition:  This antique pewter dish shows significant signs of age and wear, adding to its authentic antique character. The surface has a well-developed patina with visible scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout. Notably, the dish has a pronounced area of damage, including a cracked and partially repaired section on the interior near the rim. The underside exhibits a large area of separation, with remnants of an old repair that has worn over time, exposing some of the underlying material. The rim has minor warping and a few areas of irregular shaping, consistent with its age and historical use. While structurally fragile in some areas, the piece remains an evocative example of antique pewter craftsmanship.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.

All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
