A revolving silverplate cruet set in the Victorian to early Edwardian tradition, dating to around 1880 to 1910. The stand features a pierced gallery, four fitted bottle openings, and a tall central ring handle mounted on a turned column. The four original cut glass bottles retain their classic diamond and oval cutting, two with faceted crystal stoppers, one with a hinged silverplate mustard lid, and one with a pierced shaker top. Sets like this held a place of ceremony at the formal English dining table, sitting at center and turning to offer oil, vinegar, mustard, and salt to each guest in turn.
