A small British marine oil on canvas, painted on a Winsor & Newton prepared canvas and presenting a rocky coastal scene with open sea, breaking waves, and a distant headland under an overcast sky. The handling is confident and economical, particularly in the water, where the brushwork reads as the work of a trained painter comfortable with marine subjects. No signature is present. The canvas bears a Winsor & Newton maker's stamp on the verso, consistent with professional artist materials of the late Victorian and Edwardian period.
The painting is in good antique condition. The canvas is stable with no visible tears, punctures, or active paint loss. The surface shows age-appropriate craquelure consistent with a canvas of this period. No obvious inpainting or restoration is visible under normal examination. The plain wood frame is a later replacement, not original to the painting, and shows minor wear consistent with use. Overall a solid, presentable example requiring no immediate conservation attention.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
