A beautifully timeworn, turn of the century bound volume of The Century Illustrated Monthly Magazine, Vol. LXIII (New Series, Vol. XLI), containing the issues from November 1901 through April 1902. Published by The Century Co., New York, with Macmillan & Co. Ltd., London listed on the title page, this is the kind of substantial, old world “library shelf” book that instantly reads as collected, cultured, and lived in. It was printed by The De Vinne Press and carries a 1902 copyright, placing it right at the start of the Edwardian era and the height of the golden age of illustrated magazines.
The binding shows significant wear consistent with library use and age. The leather at the spine ends and along the joints has experienced notable rubbing, scuffing, and loss, with peeling to those areas. The corners are worn and the cloth boards are rubbed. Page edges are toned throughout, as expected for paper of this period. Library markings are present, including a printed library label and spine identification. Occasional pencil notations appear on some pages. The text block itself is intact and the pages are legible throughout. This is a reader's and researcher's copy rather than a collector's showpiece, and it is priced and presented accordingly.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
