Set of three Italian bronze portrait plaques of Roman emperors, mid to late 19th century, made as Grand Tour souvenirs. Each is cast in low relief with a profile portrait and a Latin inscription modeled on imperial coinage. The first is inscribed VESPASIANVS AVG and depicts Vespasian; the second, AVG DIVI FIL, depicts Augustus as son of the deified Caesar; the third, C. CAES T. F. A., likely also refers to Augustus or his lineage. Both Augustus plaques show the laurel crown and classical drapery. Solid bronze with original dark brown patina and mounting holes at the top for hanging. Sourced from an Italian dealer in the United Kingdom.
All three plaques are in very good antique condition with an even dark patina and sharp relief throughout. Light surface wear and subtle tonal variations are consistent with age and handling. No repairs or modern alterations are present. The inscriptions remain legible and the detailing in the hair, drapery, and facial features is well preserved.
Shipping & Returns
All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.

All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
