A charming 1894 Macmillan edition of Coridon's Song and Other Verses, illustrated throughout by Hugh Thomson and introduced by Austin Dobson. This late Victorian poetry volume was produced during a period when publishers placed real emphasis on book design, and Thomson’s lively illustrations give the text much of its appeal today.
This copy has been later bound in half leather over marbled paper boards, with raised bands, gilt spine tooling, and matching marbled endpapers. It is an attractive, display-worthy example with strong appeal for collectors of illustrated books and decorative antique bindings.
The half leather binding is structurally sound with rubbing along the edges, corners, and joints consistent with age and handling. The spine retains clear gilt tooling detail with light wear at the ends. The marbled paper boards show surface wear in keeping with their age. Internally the text block is clean overall, with mild age toning and occasional light spotting throughout. A handwritten gift inscription dated 1902 is present on the front flyleaf. The inner hinges show mild stress but remain intact and functional. A very good example overall, with honest wear and strong display presence.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.

All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
