The binding is tight and the leather sound throughout, with only minimal rubbing at the corners and spine ends. The gilt tooling on both spine and boards retains good brightness and has held up well for a volume of this age. Internally all gatherings are firm with no loose or chipped leaves. The steel plates and red-rule title page show clear impressions. The frontispiece and leaves immediately adjacent show moderate foxing and light toning at the margins, which is characteristic of this period's paper stock and common in volumes of this type. The gilt page edges have lost little of their original brilliance. A solid, presentable copy that displays well.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
