Der Monat Maria: Eine Sammlung von Betrachtungen, Gebeten und erbaulichen Beispielen by Wilhelm Josse, published in 1840 by Adolf Krabbe in Stuttgart, is a devotional work dedicated to the veneration of the Virgin Mary. This book provides daily meditations, prayers, and moral reflections for the month of May, a time traditionally associated with Marian devotion in Catholic practice. It includes readings and prayers intended to inspire piety and spiritual renewal, aligning with the Catholic Church's emphasis on the role of Mary as an intercessor and model of virtue. The nine engraved illustrations are intact and well-preserved. A visually appealing copy that retains much of its original character.
