A slim antique leather coin wallet dating to the late Victorian to Edwardian period, circa 1890–1910. Designed for everyday pocket use, this wallet features multiple tiered, scalloped interior compartments intended to separate and organize pre-decimal coinage.

The compact proportions and shallow profile reflect its purpose as a gentleman’s personal accessory, meant to slip easily into a waistcoat or jacket pocket without bulk. Finished with snap fasteners, a small suspension ring for attaching to a chain or bag, and a shield-shaped metal cartouche on the front, a traditional space for engraving or a retailer mark.
