A sculptural Mid-Century Modern teak and glass bud vase, crafted in the 1960s with the organic curves and minimalist form characteristic of Scandinavian design. The tapered teak body features an elongated oval opening that reveals a removable clear glass insert, perfect for displaying a single stem or dried bloom.
This piece exemplifies the era’s balance between craftsmanship and simplicity, pairing natural materials with clean architectural lines. The warm tone of the teak complements the clear glass, creating an understated statement piece suitable for both mid-century and contemporary interiors.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age. A natural crack extends along one side of the teak base (as shown), stable and not affecting overall structure. Surface marks and small indentations are present from age and handling, adding to its vintage character. The glass insert is intact and free of chips or cracks.
