Light rubbing to the extremities of the spine, and a small separation beginning at the head of the spine where the vellum meets the cloth board at the front joint, though the binding remains structurally sound. The blue cloth boards are generally clean with some light marks and minor wear at the corners. Top edge of the text block is untrimmed and shows toning. The pages are aged to a warm cream with some foxing, most notably at the edges of the text block; the photogravure plates display well with no significant damage. The ex libris bookplate of Sara & Brian Donaghey is cleanly affixed to the front pastedown. No institutional stamps, library markings, or other inscriptions observed.
