The interior of the shade is cream-painted metal with heavy rust-colored spotting and staining throughout, which is visible when the lamp is lit. The shade bracket hardware has been fitted with a replacement Phillips-head screw in place of the original locking key mechanism. The original finial is missing; the top of the post is open without a cap. One candle sleeve is loose at its fitting. The ball feet are present and the base structure is sound.
