The frame shows age-appropriate wear to the silver-plated surface, including areas of darkening, light spotting, and minor surface marks consistent with use. It is missing the original mirror that would have been mounted in this frame. The velvet backing appears to be a later replacement and the hanging hardware has been updated. Overall, the frame is in good antique condition and displays beautifully.
