2.5" H x 5" diameter

This antique sterling silver reticulated bowl is a beautifully detailed example of American Rococo Revival design from the late nineteenth century. Crafted during the Gilded Age, it features elaborate pierced scrollwork, acanthus flourishes, beaded garlands, and raised cartouches that create a lace like effect around the body. The decorative shield on the front carries a period monogram that enhances the sense of history and provenance.

Made entirely of sterling silver, this bowl reflects the exceptional craftsmanship of American silversmiths during the 1890 period. Pieces like this were used in refined dining rooms and parlours, often filled with fruit, wrapped sweets, or potpourri. Today it is a versatile styling accent that instantly elevates a console table, bar cart, vanity, or holiday tablescape. The reflective surface and openwork design also make it beautiful as a candle surround, allowing light to shimmer through the pierced ornament.

This is an ideal piece for collectors of fine silver and for anyone who loves to bring heritage, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury into their home.

Condition:

The bowl is in excellent antique condition with a bright polished surface. The reticulated work is intact and shows no breaks or repairs. Minor surface scratches are present inside the bowl which is appropriate for age and use. The monogram is crisp and the decorative features maintain strong definition. The piece is structurally sound and displays beautifully.
